Bayview College has an up-to-date Information Technology Infrastructure which supports the College Network and enables students to utilise ICT to effectively support their learning. Year 7 & 8 students use Chromebooks which enables Technology to be used seamlessly in the classroom to assist in the acquisition, consolidation and creation of knowledge. Alternatively we can support other laptops that have been used at primary schools. Staff provide learning and assessment information to students and parents via SIMON, our Learning Management System. Students are able to access their timetable, events, class notes, assignments, homework and assessment tasks anywhere and at anytime. Parents are able to log in to track how their son or daughter is progressing throughout the year, and make direct contact with teachers. Our students have access to our wireless network, Computer labs, banks of laptop computers, and student in Years 9 – 12 are able to Bring Their Own Device (BYOD) and connect to the school network.
