eLearning

Bayview College has an up-to-date Information Technology Infrastructure which supports the College Network and enables students to utilise ICT to effectively support their learning.

In 2017 Year 7 students will have access to Chromebooks and the rollout of these devices will continue over the next 3 years.  This will enable Technology to be used seamlessly in the classroom to assist in the acquisition, consolidation and creation of knowledge.

Throughout 2017, staff will increasingly be providing learning and assessment information to students via SIMON, our Learning Management System. Students will be able to access class notes, homework and assessment tasks anywhere and at anytime. Parents will also be able to log in to track how their son or daughter is progressing, and make direct contact with teachers.

Our students also have access to four quality Computer labs, banks of laptop computers that classes use, and student in Years 10, 11 and 12 are able to Bring Their Own Device (BYOD) and connect to the school network.
