Spiritual Life

Bayview College is an ecumenical Christian College and as such students have the opportunity in Faith and Values classes to explore life’s meaning through the prism of the Bible and especially through knowing Jesus in the Gospels.

Students are helped to express their relationship with God in prayer: prayer in daily Care Group, prayer in Faith and Values classes, prayer in Church Services.

Students have opportunities for informal conversation through the Chaplaincy program to examine issues and concerns from a Christian perspective, whether faith concerns or personal and relationship issues.

Students are reminded regularly that the College expects that behaviour will enact Gospel values.  The school community is reminded of the Bayview College Christian ethos, traditions and founding objects through the Newsletter and parent meetings.
